Our History
Woodland Park started as a 40’ long trailer (even known in the area of that day as “the trailer church”), which was used for almost two years until the present building was completed. These visionary folks desired to have an outpost for sharing the gospel at what at the time was considered the outskirts of town.
Who We Are
Many ministries developed over the years: Children’s Church, Community Youth Group, Vacation Bible School, Programs for Women and Men, Camp Arrah Wanna, and even outreach programs to local nursing homes and the homeless. However, the goal of the team 65 years ago still stands today. And the message is still the same. The engaging, relaxed atmosphere of today may be different and there may not be as many suits and ties as back in the old days (you can even enjoy a cup of coffee with the service!), but we still want nothing less that those early visionaries wanted: People finding a life-giving relationship with the Lord and learning to walk with Him every day.
