November 2016

Education:

MDiv. Western Seminary. MBA Oregon State University. BA Oregon State University. BS Oregon State University.

Testimony:

When I was in 5th grade, growing up in southern Oregon, my best friend invited me to church. I always knew there was something else “out there” beyond what I could see and touch. However, I didn’t know what it was until my friend’s pastor shared the Gospel with me in a clear and understandable way. It was in that moment I realized that the “something else out there” was actually a “someone:” Jesus! I realized that He loved me enough to die for me on the cross and that He was powerful enough to rise again on the third day. In that moment, I put my full trust in him and and have been following Him ever since.

It was at Oregon’s own Camp Arrah-Wanna where I first felt the Lord calling me into vocational ministry. Since then, I have been fired up to serve Christ through our American Baptist Churches and in partnership with other believers who share similar passions for sharing God’s love with our world. Though God has called me to serve in other places, including Nebraska, Bolivia, and Mexico, the Northwest has always held a special place in my heart. That is why I am so excited and humbled to help share the gospel with a new generation in the great city of Portland and in my home state of Oregon.
